About Haya Alsharhan

Haya Alsharhan is a pioneer for women in fitness and CrossFit in the Middle East. As one of the region’s first competitive female CrossFit athletes, Haya became the first Arab woman and the first Kuwaiti to qualify for the CrossFit Asia Regionals in 2013. She continues to compete both locally and internationally, with notable achievements including a first-place finish at Battle of the East in 2015, less than a year after delivering her first daughter via emergency c-section.
Beyond her success as an athlete, Haya is a passionate coach, a business owner, and a mother to two young daughters. She began her journey at CrossFit Q8 by coaching and helping manage the gym alongside founder Yousef Albaqsami. Today, she is a part-owner of HUSTLE gym, the rebranded evolution of CrossFit Q8. Haya was also the first female Kuwaiti CrossFit coach to lead classes in the country, holding a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer Certification. In addition, she became Kuwait’s first certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism coach, dedicating herself to empowering women, especially mothers, to rebuild strength, confidence, and a deeper connection with their bodies through fitness.
"CrossFit changed my life. It taught me strength is not just physical. It’s mental, emotional, and limitless. I want to teach women how to move better, lift heavier, and see fitness as a celebration of what their bodies can do, not just a pursuit of weight loss."
Haya created the MomFit Postpartum Program, the first of its kind in Kuwait, designed to guide women safely and purposefully through postpartum recovery and beyond. Her work includes leading group classes, providing one-on-one coaching, hosting workshops and seminars, and developing online resources for women at every stage of motherhood.
Haya has proudly collaborated with major brands like Reebok MENA and has been featured in publications such as Khaleejesque and Harper’s Bazaar Arabia, always using her platform to challenge stereotypes and redefine what strength looks like.
Today, juggling motherhood, business, training, and coaching, Haya’s mission remains clear: to show women they are capable of more than they ever thought possible. She believes fitness is not just about aesthetics, it’s about building confidence, resilience, and a new mindset.
